Head PGA Professional (Class AAT)

Clive Bonner

I joined Bramshaw golf club as Head Professional in 1990 after serving seven years at Brokenhurst Manor and prior to that four years at Dunwood Manor. Due to injury problems I had to give up a successful playing career.

In 1976 I won both the Hampshire PGA matchplay and strokeplay titles and I am still to date the youngest player to have won both competitions in the same year.

In 1978 I qualified for the Open Championship at St Andrew's and the following year I earned my European Tour Card. My best finish was top 25 in the Swiss open.

Having worked with John Jacobs I have gained a vast experience of coaching, and was coach to Kevin Weeks when he won the English Amatuer championship.

Putting is usually an area of the game that most golfers neglect, but I have had a lot of success in helping people to improve this area. This has resulted in them lowering their scores and their handicaps.

Using the Vector Launch Monitor and my vast knowledge of clubhead design and shaft specifications I am able to provide you with an excellent club fitting service, to ensure that the correct clubs are found to suit each individuals needs.

Assistant PGA Professional (Class A)

Emma Weeks

As an amateur player I played for the Hampshire junior girls and Ladies teams. I won the Hampshire Ladies county championship in 1997. I also played for England on 12 occassions and was a member of the winning England Girls Home Internationals team. I was also one of a team of four girls to represent England in the European Team championships in Frankfurt.

After finishing in the top ten on the English Ladies order of merit in 2002 and 2003 I then decide to turn professional. I missed my tour card at qualifying school that year and started my PGA foundation degree training at Fleming Park Golf course the following year. In february 2006 I came to join Clive's team here at Bramshaw. With support and encouragement from Clive I passed my exams in May 2007.

Once I finished my PGA training I returned to playing and held a Ladies european tour card for the 2009 season.

I am now focusing on the coaching side of my career and helping to develop a coaching program for junior golfers having recently helped Bramshaw to Achieve Golf Mark High Achievers Award.

Service and Repairs

Tony Clarke

I joined Bramshaw golf club as a member in 1986.

After leaving my previous employment in 1998 i took a career break for 12 months to travel and play golf.

I joined Clive's team in 1999 and with an engineering background it seemed the natural progression for me to be involved in the repairs side of the business.

After attending training courses with Powakaddy, Hillbilly and Motocaddy I became qualified in all aspects of electric trolley repairs and maintenance.

After recieving training from other members of Clive's team I also now carry out club repairs and refurbishment.

Assistant PGA Professional (Class A)

David Bartlett

I joined the team at Bramshaw having served 11 years at Rushmore Golf club as an assistant, where my role was primarily to coach golf to players of all abilities and ages.

I have developed a passion for coaching and love to see improvement in golfing abilities and confidence trhough tuition.

I have a large amount of experience using the GASP Video Analysis system which allows the golfer to get a visual of there own golf swing, which can be very helpful within the coaching process.

Now that bramshw has been awarded the GolfMark high achievers award, I shall endeavour to help in the development of our junior golfers here at the club with the rest of the coaching team and junior committee.

Trainee Assistant PGA Professional

Adam Hickling

I joined the Bramshaw team after working for a year at Paultons Golf Centre where I turned professional in August 2009.

As an Amatuer I played a lot of my golf at Dibden golf centre and Hockley golf club where I enjoyed much success. I played in the Inter college league while studying for a National Diploma in Sports science and golf.

I am looking forward to finishing my PGA foundation degree so I can go on to teach and help with the growth of the Junior Academy to make it the best that it can be.
